Alexis Pillsbury has experience both working and studying in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Most recently, prior to commencing postgraduate studies at the University of Sydney, she interned for the United Nations Development Program in the Lao PDR. She possesses a BA in International Relations from Wellesley College in the US, and Masters in both International Public Health and Public Policy from the University of Sydney. Her interests include emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, international aid and development politics, and issues of disease control in developing countries.
