Jonathan's interests include religious and cultural approaches to violence, Middle East politics and non-traditional security threats. He has interned at the Canadian Consulate in Sydney, the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution and the Lowy Institute for International Policy. He was founding Editor-in-Chief of The Sydney Globalist, the University of Sydney's undergraduate international affairs magazine.
